Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how ThetaWiz (“ThetaWiz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the ThetaWiz software, applications, and websites (together, the “Service”). Our approach is to store as little as possible: the Service is broker-direct, so it works against your own brokerage connection, and we do not store your broker credentials, positions, or market data.
2. Information we collect
Account information. To use the Service you provide an email address, which we use to manage your entitlement and billing. If you join a waitlist or contact us, we also receive the email address and any information you choose to send.
Payment information. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment-card numbers; the processor handles card data and provides us limited billing details such as subscription status.
Usage and device data. Like most online services, we and our infrastructure providers may automatically collect limited technical data — such as IP address, browser or device type, and basic diagnostic and error logs — to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Broker connection. The Service authenticates with your own brokerage account using your own entitlement and accesses market data through that connection. This data flows directly between your broker and your device. We do not store, pool, share, or redistribute your broker credentials, positions, or market data between users.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the Service; manage your account, entitlement, and billing; respond to your requests and provide support; secure the Service and prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service: with service providers that process data on our behalf (for example, hosting/infrastructure, authentication, and payment processing) under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations; when required by law or to respond to valid legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and property of ThetaWiz, our users, or the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will provide notice as required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
5. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including our infrastructure provider, our authentication and database provider, and our payment processor, as well as your own broker and its data vendors. Your use of your broker connection and market data is subject to your broker’s and its data vendors’ terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
6. Data retention
We keep account information, such as your email and billing records, for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your account information as described below.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for safeguarding the credentials used to connect your broker.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@thetawiz.com, and we will respond as required by applicable law. You may also cancel your subscription at any time, and you can unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those messages.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International users
We operate from and store information in [DATA-CONTROLLER JURISDICTION — to be set by counsel]. If you access the Service from another country, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws than your own.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated policy with a new effective date or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
